Our Story

A neighborhood table since 2001

We opened on 18th Street with a simple idea: bring the generous, shared spirit of the Turkish and Mediterranean meze table to Adams Morgan.

Twenty-plus years later, that's still how we cook: small plates meant to be passed around, made from scratch and served halal. Our guests know our team by name, and many have been coming back since the very first year.

In 2026 we're marking our 25th year, honored with the RAMMY "Honorable Milestone Award."

The Menu

A table made for sharing

Everything is made from scratch in one small kitchen, the way it has been since 2001. Dips ground by hand, dough rolled fresh each day, kebabs fired over an open flame and sweets soaked in syrup the same afternoon. It is Turkish home cooking, made for a table full of friends.

Yes, we pour. Settle in at the bar for signature cocktails and our famous mojitos, a dedicated rakı bar, wine, beer and a deep shelf of spirits. Halal on the plate, a proper drink in your hand.

Twenty-five years on 18th Street

We opened our doors in 2001 and never moved. Twenty-five years on, the same neighbors still fill our tables. In 2026 the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington marked it with a RAMMY, its Honorary Milestone Award. Same family, same halal kitchen, same welcome.
